Artist Robin Arthur
This year’s cover image is provided by local artist Robin Arthur. Robin, who originally hails from Texas, is a resident of the North Fork Valley. She is a multi-faceted artist who produces everything from pet portraits to colorful abstracts to western landscapes inspired by the myriad Instagram-worthy vistas outside her window and around every corner in Delta County. A chance to participate in an artist residency at Paonia’s Elsewhere Studios brought her to the area, and she now calls it home. Robin’s artwork can be found locally on bottles of Paonia’s Qutori Wines. They are also featured in the great room at Paonia’s K-8 school, at Grapevine Gallery and at Horse Cow 57 warehouse.
Where to view:
Horse Cow 57 warehouse and gallery, 116 3rd Street, Paonia (where the WWII airplane rocket ship sits). Call or text 512-963-4892 for gallery hours.
Grapevine Gallery, 220 Grand Avenue, Paonia. Open seven days per week, April through December. Weekends and by appointment, January through March.
