moonshine, a new regional arts magazine with a focus

on visual arts &; more has launched online (free!). In

the first issue, we have an inspiring interview with

folk artist John Moon, a conversation with

David Noah exploring the new medium of digital

storytelling, technology tips for artists (using free

tools on the web such as flickr, youtube, etc.),

advice for exhibiting, a short story by author

Lisa Taylor, poetry by Brenda Basham and a Short Girl

comic by Jasmine Rizer. Every issue we will check in

with artists via studio views: a section written by

artists from the studio or in the case of Sandra

Babb, a plein air painter, from the field! Book

reviews and more!

If you use a rss reader (bloglines, thunderbird,

firefox live bookmarks, my yahoo, pageflakes, etc.)

make sure to add us to your news. wink
