poor southerncreativity. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but it’s just not working the way I envisioned. I tried to put some spam prevention in place, and I think it mostly shut out the artists; the spammers still seem to be getting through. ;-(

If there is one thing that I’ve learned, it’s this: You can’t beat an idea or dream into submission, no matter how much you want it to succeed. Sometimes a work of art is just experiment. Sometimes a job (or a program or a course of study or…) is just not the right fit. Sometimes a relationship is just not a match. Failure is okay, if you take the opportunity to learn from it.

Take a breath. Re-evaluate. Re-group. Move on. That is where I am with southerncreativity now. The only people who seem to contribute are me and the spammers. Where is the fun in that? So, I have a new idea. Something I haven’t tried before, but if it doesn’t succeed, it doesn’t matter because I will have learned something.
