anyhow, I’m supposed to be a flash workshop this a.m., but to be honest, I don’t know that my poor hands can take drawing with a mouse and I know that the classroom doesn’t have tablets. It’s probably the same old thing I’ve been to a billion times anyhow. That’s the problem with some of the these kinds of workshops, it’s hard to determine the level the instructor will be targeting…but generally, I will pick up one or two little shortcuts that I didn’t know about, so generally worth it, even if I’m tempted to sleep through the rest of it…and then there is my whole ambivalence about flash anyhow. Anyhow, I have an interactive training tool idea, but I am not sure what I want to use. Flash seems the obvious choice, but I’m also thinking maybe camtasia studio. I have until probably midSept to have it up and running, which should be plenty of time.
Anyhow, I’ve made some decisions regarding training 4 people in Sept. and it’s going to be better online training. I think I can realistically do a small portion of the training interactively (but the most important for me) which will hopefully not conflict too much with the larger project group, which wants to redo the entire training module. A noble thought, but the larger project group is just not going to meet my deadline as they are still at the concept stage. Actually, to be honest, they are not even at the CONCEPT stage. Anyhow, it’s a very complicated situation. It’s kind of frustrating when your ideas get hijacked and then go nowhere. It sometimes makes me think that there is not interest, but if that is the case, then why does it matter to certain folks?
It’s all really discouraging sometimes. I’m not a person to jump in the water without checking the temperature first, but then before I can even stick my toe in, the lifeguard is blowing his whistle that the synchronized swim team will be performing and everyone else out of the water.
..and there’s your passive agressive post for the day.
…in other news, my puppy is 6 months old and I’ve missed two days of running/walking; bad, bad; but dang, it’s hot here. Anyhow, I am planning on getting back to it tonight.
